Toby Mott is a first generation UK punk rocker, who began collecting and archiving ephemera since the 70s. Amassing a huge archive of posters, flyers books and other printed material focusing on punk and sub genres of punk counter culture. He has exhibited his collections around the world and written books on the subject of punk posters, Crass, American Hardcore, and Skinhead ephemera and culture.
Derek Ridgers is an English photographer with a career spanning over thirty years. He is best known for his photography of music, film and club/street culture – photographing people such as Boy George, The Sex Pistols, Nick Cave, The Cure and many other iconic figures in English pop culture. His years of focusing on the street culture though led him to document the early years of Punk, Skinheads, New Romantics, and the fetish scenes of London .
BJ Papas is an American rock photographer who began her career by shooting her friends bands at local shows in New York City. Capturing hundreds of bands in the NYHC scene she managed to document the evolution of the punk and hardcore as it was developing. Photographing the album covers of Sick Of It All’s first release and the quintessential New York City Hardcore – The Way It Is compilation. BJ then moved into a long run with Epitaph Records, photographing bands like Rancid, H20, Distillers, Joe Strummer and many others.
Sean Taggart is an American Illustrator who began his career in the early 80s with the burgeoning New York Hardcore punk scene. Making original art for local club show flyers in the hardcore community. He is responsible for Album cover art to some of New Yorks Iconic bands like Agnostic Front, Murphey’s Law, Crumbsuckers and Carnivore to name a few. He then went on to do the art work for the Jerky Boys, Prong, Napalm Death and many others before moving on to fine art and graphic design.
